In The News

Monday's paper is always a good source of old boy's news. We note the following tidbits from today's edition.
  • Our thoughts and prayers are with recent old boy Kerr Sharpe-Young on the sudden death of his father who had been so central to the development of New Plymouth as a venue for musical shows.
  • We note Tomas Mosquera is back scoring goals for Team Taranaki and his coach, FDMC staff member Ian McGrath. We wish Tomas all the best for what could be a very big, and long, season.
  • Coming to the end of the surf lifesaving season, old boys Dylan Dunlop-Barrett and Paul Cracroft-Wilson have made the NZ Squad to compete in Eygpt later in the year. Dylan was also named Male Competitor of the Tournament at the National Championships.
  • Congratulations to staff member Peter Ingram on being named in the NZ Test team to play Australia. He has had a baptism of fire in the one day series but we know Pete's mental strength will stand him in good stead over five days.
