Sister Sport

We have spoken a number of times about the rise of cricket at FDMC so it was encouraging to see an article in today's Daily News about the way the game is now developing at Sacred Heart College. As our sister school it is good to see we share another enthusiasm.

We also noted that some of the people helping this development are old boys of FDMC. Pictured is Ross Howarth a stalwart of the FDMC 1st XI in the 1980's. Ross is currently teaching at SHGC and has been helping the girls "get on the front foot" with their cricket.

We also note that the SHGC 1st XI is being coached by John Goodin, another FDMC product, albeit from the 1970's.
